Apartman Jele is located in the center of Maslinica, a small fisherman's village on the west coast of Šolta. Lying just 5 meters from the sea it makes for a truly one of a kind experience of the Mediterranean.  It was built in old Dalmatian-style but after a renovation in 2012 it now offers a perfect combination of modern-day living and classic  Mediterranean beauty. The house itself is built of stone and the interior is a combination of handmade wooden furniture and modern everyday appliances. The first floor consists of a small entrance area, a bathroom and a dining room with a fully equipped kitchen. The second floor is  entered by a staircase taking you to the living room which is connected to the main bedroom making the apartment suitable for accommodating up to 3 people. The apartment is equipped with Wi-Fi and both of the sleeping rooms have TVs. This unique stone house has been a favorite place of many visitors throughout the 20th century and has a long tradition as the first house to be rented in Maslinica as early as 1950.  Šolta still offers that long forgotten feeling of the Mediterranean and Maslinica has become a rising star of Dalmatia. There is a famous goodwill saying here: "Dabog da te Šolta dopala!" which translates to: "I hope God sets you on a path to Šolta!"

Maslinica

Maslinica is a settlement on the Solta island, situated in a bay on the west part of the island. Maslinica distinguishes with natural values of a landscape, with the picturesque bay and a pine wood on the south side, and its vicinity with deep, well-protected the Šešula bay. Nowadays, Maslinica is very attractive for those tourists who are looking for an absolute peace and quite during the day and the night. There are no modern beaches with accompanying contents in Maslinica. There is a smaller beach in the Tepli Bok bay, but the true value of this place is that you can literally in every little bay find an isolated corner just for yourself (the beaches are mostly rocky).

  • How to find us: Šolta is connected to Split via frequent ferry lines (Split-Rogač) of about 45 mins, from Rogač it takes 15 mins of driving to get to Maslinica, check out the map HERE
  • Ferry lines to Šolta
  • Parking: Upon arriving you can park in front of the apartment, but we suggest parking your car in one of the nearby parking locations for the rest of your trip
  • Beaches: The nearest beaches are less than 300 meters away but the real charm of Maslinica is that it offers endless isolated corners for your own sea experience
  • Extras: The apartment offers the usage of a fire-place in the back alley;  there is an option of adding one more bed in the living room
